Handbell Fund
A Handbell Fund has been established to
purchase the next octave of handbells. The cost is approximately $7,500. The next octave of
handbells will increase our opportunities to worship joyfully through inspiring new handbell
music. Please help us to move forward in this direction with our music ministry. Contributions
may be made using the envelope provided or by indicating on your check that your contribution is
for the Handbell Fund.
St. Patrick’s Day Lasagna Dinner and Dance
The Youth Group’s St. Patrick's Day Lasagna Dinner and Dance will be held Saturday night, March 13th in Luther
Hall at 6 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Sunday, January 31st until sold out. Donation is $10 for adults and $5 for
children. Family tickets are $30 (2 adults and 2 or more children) Take out is available! All proceeds will
go to the youth group mission trip in July.
Giant Food Cards
On Sundays from 10 to 10:30 a.m. in the narthex, buy a $25 pre-paid grocery card redeemable at any Giant Food
Store from the Youth Group. Giant will donate 5% of the proceeds to the youth's mission trip this summer.
It's that easy and costs you nothing extra! Buy a $25 card and get $25 worth of groceries! Great for gifts or
buy to support our social ministries. If you can't get to church to purchase your cards, contact me at

Campbell's soup labels collection
Thanks to all who continue to save the Campbell's soup labels and box tops for education symbols.
(An envelope for them is on the bulletin board outside the pastor's office.) They all benefit the
Navajo Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, Arizona. Sue Wambold reports that so far in 2010 she has
sent 166 soup labels and 250 box tops for education symbols.
Calling All Singers!
You are invited! Cantata Practices are being held on Sunday mornings from 10:30 A.M. - 12:00 noon.
The Cantata will be presented on Easter Sunday, April 4th, at the 9:00 A.M. service. If you would
like to join us for this special presentation, come out for these rehearsals, scheduled for 2/7, 2/21,
2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28. We will also be practicing cantata music on Thursday evenings at 8:00 P.M.,
so if you can’t make it some Sundays, you can rehearse with us on Thursday evening that week.
Come join us for this glorious resurrection celebration, and raise your voices in praise to our Risen Lord!
